Enjoy the magic of a horse-drawn sleigh ride this winter in the quiet countryside. With the jingle of sleigh bells, the horses’ breath rising in the crisp air, and a warm cup of cocoa by a crackling fire, it’s the perfect Christmas outing for the whole family.

We offer complimentary cookies and hot cocoa served from our charming vintage horse-trailer bar, along with old-fashioned games for the kids, festive vintage décor for photos, and soft Christmas carols playing in the background to create a warm holiday atmosphere.

Guests are invited to meet our horses up close, and you’ll have the opportunity to take a family photo to remember your visit with the Clydesdales of Pilot Farm & Forge. Bring your friends, family and neighbours to experience a truly winter tradition

Sleigh rides are weather dependent. If there is not enough snow available for our sleighs we may be able to proceed with wagons. If the temperatures are too cold to safely offer our sleigh rides for our horses we will try our best to reschedule. For the first time, our sleigh rides will not be limited to the 2026 Christmas holidays and we can book into the New Year.

More details will be available in the fall of 2026, including dates, times, cost etc. In the meantime, we are working hard behind the scenes to prepare to host events at Pilot Farm & Forge. Tickets will be available to purchase in advance to secure your seat on our sleighs!

Blankets are provided on the benches for more comfortable seating. Guests should dress according to weather conditions, so don’t forget to bundle up! Pilot Farm & Forge is a non-smoking venue. Please leave your pets in the comfort of your home.
